About

I am a broadly trained population, community and disease ecologist with a passion for aquatic systems.

Research in my lab combines lab- and field-based experiments with statistical, machine learning, and simulation modeling to explore how the environment, host population cycles, and climate change influence disease dynamics and environmental health outcomes.

We are also interested in how changes to host-parasite processes percolate back through levels of biological organization to influence communities, ecosystems, and human industry.
